Black Stolpich

Anyone who likes wild mountain streams, the sight of predatory water in the riverbeds accompanied by a typical hum, will like to walk along the Černý Štolpich in the Jizera Mountains.
Černý Štolpich, sometimes also called Velký Štolpich, springs at an altitude of 970 meters on the eastern slope of Holubník, one of the highest peaks of the Jizera Mountains. The length of the stream is 8,7 km, the average gradient is 73 per mile and the catchment area is 20 km2.
