Blansko - museum in the castle
The castle in Blansko - originally a medieval fortress, dating from the 13th century - was rebuilt in its Renaissance form between 1574 and 1604. The castle building was heavily damaged during the Thirty Years' War, and therefore the castle was restored and rebuilt in the Baroque style in the 17th century style.
