Blansko - monument to the victims of the Great War
The monument is located in the park in the northwestern part of Freedom Square. It is 380 cm high and was made by the sculptor František Doležel from Bořitov. Its construction was decided by the city council at meetings in July and August 1924. The ceremonial unveiling of the monument then took place on October 28, 1924.
