From the lookout there is a beautiful view of the Elbe river valley and the rock formations of the Bohemian Switzerland. The viewpoint is located on a rock promontory at a height of approx. 130 meters. The Belvedere is the oldest viewpoint in Bohemian Switzerland, it was built by František Karel Clary-Aldringen in 1701-11. In the past, the viewpoint was connected to the castle in Bynovec by a 4 km carriage road.
