Dolní Žleb is the last village in Bohemia on the left bank of the Elbe, which created a 250 m deep canyon and over 100 m high vertical sandstone walls. The village has mainly a recreational character, it is the main starting point for mountaineers, the famous rock towers of Jeptiška and Mnich on the right bank.
