Albrechtice n.V.

Albrechtice nad Vltavou is located in a basin under the Písecké mountains about 12 km southeast of the District Town of Písek at an altitude of 428 m above sea level
The original village, mentioned as early as the 12th century, grew into a small town over the centuries. It was destroyed during the Thirty Years' War. Later, Albrechtice was restored and today it belongs to the larger municipalities of the district.
