The confluence of the Vltava and Lužnice near Týn nad Vltavou

The confluence of the Vltava and Lužnice rivers is located 2,5 km west of Týn nad Vltavou downstream. Lužnice is a right-hand tributary of the Vltava and has already completed a 208 km long pilgrimage here. It is therefore a connection of two almost equal streams, since the Vltava is only slightly longer, 222 km to be exact. Lužnice, on the other hand, surpasses the Vltava in terms of basin size.
