Some sources incorrectly believe that, according to the age of the local bell, the belfry must have stood here already in the 18th century, but this is a traditional mistake, because the bell itself does not come directly from the village, but from Osice. The fact that there was no belfry in Srch then or later can be ascertained especially by looking at the indicative sketch of the stable cadastre from 1839 by Robert Tief, 2nd class adjunct and 2nd class surveyor...
