The ruins of Krakovec Castle
The Central Bohemian municipality of Krakovec is located in the district of Rakovník, which, according to written sources, was founded by King John of Luxembourg. A big attraction is the castle of the same name, i.e. its ruins, whose origins date back to the 14th century. Master Jan Hus also stayed here for a while, from where he went to the Council in Constance, despite many warnings.
