Znojmo - Dyjská district
As the name suggests, it was located in close proximity to the river Dyje and on a steep slope below the castle and the church of St. Nicholas. An important object was the bridge over the Dyji, which continued the journey from Znojmo to the south towards Kraví hora and Austria. It also used to be the Napajedelská brána, through which cattle were driven from the city to the river, because it never had a sufficient source of water. The gate did not survive, but...
