Znojmo St. Wenceslas Chapel
The pleasant backdrop of the promontory jutting out opposite the Znojmo castle is not only formed above the Dyje valley by the silhouette of the imposing St. Nicholas Church, but also by the St. Wenceslas Chapel. It is a multi-storey building with a pentagonal end and equipped with a walkway, which stands close to the city walls on Mikulášské náměstíček. Next to the old Romanesque mortuary with an ossuary, it was built thanks to the pious Znojmo citizen Kateřina from Bučice...
