The Jewish quarter in Lomnica u Tišnov consists of the Jewish Square and Josef Uhra Street and part of Bakošovec Street. From 1850, an independent Jewish political community functioned here, in 1919 it was merged with Lomnica. There is a lack of historical reports for the beginnings of the existence of the Jewish community in Lomnica. Throughout the 16th and 17th centuries, isolated Jewish families probably lived here as tenants of manor estates.…
