Railway cut - a natural monument

The site is located in the southwestern part of Prague in the valley of the Dalejské Potok, in close proximity to the southeastern Hlubočep viaduct. The profile was created during the construction of the railway line from Prague to Rudná u Beroun, built here in the early 80s and put into operation in 19.
Here, a deep cut of around 80 m reaches the geological boundary between the Serbian slates and the Chotec limestones. Location…
