Green gate in Pardubice

One of the monuments of the Pardubice Walls is the Green Gate, formerly known as the Prague Gate, because one walked under it from the market square on the way to Prague. It was built by Vilém z Pernštejn after a great fire in 1507, and again by his son Jan z Pernštejn in 1533 after a second fire, after which the entire town, except for 5 houses, was reduced to ashes.
