Pardubice and the gates to the city

In ancient times, it was possible to enter Pardubice through only two city gates. We can still pass through the Green Gate today, but the White Gate, located in today's Svaté Anežka Česká Street, is no longer there. It was decided to demolish it in the middle of the 19th century. Nothing has been preserved from it and its detailed description is not even known. Today, its location is commemorated by an inconspicuous bronze plaque on the house.
