Walls
The village of Zdíkov is one of the summer and winter recreation centers on the very edge of the Šumava Protected Area. It is located 7 km northwest of Vimperk in the Prachatice district at an altitude of 740 m.
The village is mentioned for the first time already in 1318. At that time, Vilém Bavor donated it to the Strakon convent, later it belonged to the Vimper estate. Since the end of the 16th century, it has been owned by a number of owners.
