Žatec is a medieval town on the Ohři River. It is close to CHomutov, Most, Loun, Rakovník. From Prague direction CHomutov, about 80 km. Also from Pilsen in the direction of Most. There are many places and buildings to see in Žatec. Churches, square, historical center, worth mentioning is the Temple of Hops and Beer with a lookout tower, the Jewish Synagogue.
