Vimperk Castle is a landmark of the town of Vimperk in the South Bohemian Region. The oldest surviving building in the castle is Vlčkova věž.1. On January 1, 2015, the National Institute of Monuments took over the castle, and from the same year the castle was accessible as a regular object of the NPÚ - from April to October. Two tours were opened (Upper Castle, Lower Castle), which offered a non-traditional tour of the premises before the reconstruction, and the Vimperska Museum.…
