Zaječák is the local name for the extensive meadows above the historic part of the town of Krupka, which in the north gradually pass into the area called Knetl. They got their name from Zaječí skály/Skála na Jeječák, which has the shape of a lying hare. This area was previously heavily used for agriculture and was completely deforested.
