When we drove through the foothills of the Ore Mountains, we mainly wanted to stop at the former lookout tower on Komáří hůrca. But we found out that there are many interesting objects in the city itself. Already in the Bronze Age, the first settlers here obtained tin from alluvium. At first they were Germans, who were replaced by Slavs during the migration of peoples. The first written mention of the place where it is dug is in a document of King Wenceslas II...
