The start of bus service in Úpica in 1921

It was originally planned that Úpice would become part of the railway line and have its own station. But it was eventually established in the nearby Malé Svatoňovice, which brought certain traffic complications to Úpica. That is why the city decided, following the example of other cities, to consider the establishment of intercity bus transport, which was operated by the postal administration after the creation of the Czechoslovak Republic.
