Sloup v Čechách is a very well-known resort in a sought-after tourist location located in the foothills of the Lusatian Mountains, about 3 km south of Nové Bor, famous for its glass industry. The column and its immediate surroundings have long been a sought-after tourist domain, thanks to the enchanting nature, rich not only in bizarre rock towers and steep ravines, but also in romantic castle ruins.
