Sloup in Bohemia - rock castle and hermitage

The romantic Sloup Rock Castle stands on a rocky outcrop near the village of the same name in Českolipsk. The rock was already inhabited in prehistoric times and in modern times, after the castle was abandoned, there was a hermitage here for more than a hundred years. At that time, a substantial part of the monumental labyrinth of rock corridors, rooms and garden terraces was created.
