Above the small town of Hejnice in the Jizera Mountains rises the beautiful rock viewpoint Paličník. It is at a height of 944 meters and offers a beautiful view of the Frýdlant ridge. The yellow tourist sign from the Bílý Potok settlement leads here. The path through the beech forest climbs along the Hájený potok and about 500 meters above the Hájený waterfall turns right and climbs steeply to the top of Paličník.
