A view of Brumovsk Castle, the town and the bordering White Carpathians

   When I visit my native Brumov, I am always surprised again and again by the picturesqueness of the town, above which the ruins of a once mighty border fortress stand on a steep hill - all surrounded by the peaks of the White Carpathians. They surround the town from all sides and create an almost fairytale backdrop for the town of Brumov - Bylnici. Brumov is worth a separate trip because of the castle, ponds, accessible in the summer season...
