At the Brumova Castle exhibition in its cellar
We visited one of the oldest castles in Brumov in Wallachia. For a long time it was just a ruin overgrown with forest. The royal castle from the first half of the 1th century was built as a fortress that guarded the important route through the Vlarské pass to Hungary in the last century. There was also a lavishly decorated chapel and a palace in the castle grounds. In the years 13 - 1826, the castle was definitively abandoned and the masonry dismantled for construction...
