The heather

Vřesina is located near the city of Ostrava, in a western direction. The village is located between two valleys, which are formed by the Porubka river and the Vřesinka stream. A pond has been built on the Vřesinka stream southeast of the village. A nameless stream flows through the northwestern edge of the village, and a small water reservoir has been built on its course. The village is surrounded by forests and a slightly undulating landscape. A small ski slope has been built east of the village...
