The dam is located on the western edge of Vrané nad Vltavou, it is the last stage of the Vltava cascade. To ensure navigation on this section of the Vltava, the Vraná waterworks is equipped with two navigation chambers for large ships. However, the Vrané reservoir is also a popular and sought-after location for recreation, fishing and water sports. The dam has grass banks and a rocky bottom. There is a restaurant, buffet and WC at the dam. Look for accommodation near the dam in Vraná nad Vltavou in the cottages and cottages shown below.
