A successful baroque statue of St. Jana Nepomucký is one of the remarkable landmarks in the territory of the small town of Vojnův Městec. It is located in the district of Žďár nad Sázavou and has less than eight hundred inhabitants. It is first mentioned in writing in 1293, so it undoubtedly belongs to the oldest Czech settlements that arose on the border of Bohemia and Moravia.
