Vojnův Městec
The first mention of the village dates from 1293 in connection with the Židár monastery. In the first half of the 14th century, the settlement was called Jindřichova Ves after its owner Jindřich from Lichtengurg. Later, the town was acquired as a hereditary lease by Vojn from Štětín and his heirs from the Town, and the new name Vojnův Městec was born.
