Vizovice, church of St. Lawrence and statues of St. Florian and St. Jan Nepomucký

On the elevated part of Palacké Square in Vizovice is the parish church of St. Lawrence. A smaller wooden church probably stood here at the turn of the 12th and 13th centuries, but its existence is not documented.
 
The existing church was built by the monks after the foundation of the nearby Cistercian monastery. But not much data from this time has been documented. Consecration of the late Gothic church of St. Lawrence is documented for the first time…
