Vizovice - monuments
The first mention of the Wallachian village of Vizovice dates back to 1261 in the property of the Smilheim monastery. In 1314, the Hungarian army of Matúš Čák Trenčianký looted the monastery and its estates, after further attacks by the surrounding Hussite nobility in 1418, the town declined and the monastery disappeared. In the 16th century - in 1531, they obtained from the authorities the right to brew beer and export it to the surrounding area. In 1567 on the spot…
