Vintíř's rock on the top of Březník (1006 m above sea level) near Hartmanice (3 km southwest) is an old pilgrimage site. It is named after St. Vintíři, who lived here in a hermitage under a rock in the years 1040 - 1045. St. Vintíř (Gunther in German) was a Benedictine monk and thanks to him the path connecting Bavaria and Bohemia was created.
