The village near Sobotka, a filmmaker's paradise...

The name of this picturesque village doesn't mean much to anyone... but films like Přijela k nám puť, or Jak dost tátínk do lepšovna and Jára Cimrman lying asleep are already widely known. The current wooden building, which enchanted the filmmakers, comes from the turn of the 18th - 19th centuries. It forms the so-called Bohemian circle. A total of 25 buildings (mostly wooden) have been preserved here. The first filming took place in the village...
