"new" Semtín linden
It is widely known that the beautiful and monumental Semtín linden has unfortunately already disappeared. This happened during a storm on 27/5/2000. Originally, however, there were two linden trees, they were planted after 1728, when the Statue of St. Jan Nepomucký by the sculptor Josef Jelínek. One linden was uprooted already in 1858, the second linden was significantly damaged in August 1983, when part of the branches were uprooted during a storm...
