Veltrus castle park

It began to be created in the second half of the 18th century, when Jan Rudolf Chotek was the owner of the castle. The area of ​​298 ha makes it the largest landscape park in Bohemia. The Mlýnský stream flows through the entire park, which was built in the former bed of a branch of the then unregulated Vltava river during the transformation of the landscape around the castle.
