Veltrus castle park
It began to be created in the second half of the 18th century, when Jan Rudolf Chotek was the owner of the castle. The area of 298 ha makes it the largest landscape park in Bohemia. The Mlýnský stream flows through the entire park, which was built in the former bed of a branch of the then unregulated Vltava river during the transformation of the landscape around the castle.
