Big Mehelnik
The highest peak of the Písecké Mountains (633 m) lies about 5,5 km southeast of Písek.
In the sparse forest just below the summit lies the legendary "Robber's Table" boulder. In prehistoric times, it was supposed to serve as a cult place, and the bowls and grooves on its surface were said to be used for sacrifices to Pagan gods. In fact, these bowls are of natural origin.
