Písek - Palackého sady

The city park was created on the site of the abandoned ditch and rampart in front of the city walls in the 19s. In memory of its founder, regional governor Schrenk, an empire pavilion was built here in 1841, hiding a cryptogram with Schrenk's name in an inscription inside the building.
