War memorials in Domažlice.

Domažlice is the only town in the country that has two war monuments of extraordinary value. Their author is the excellent sculptor Otakar Švec. The first belongs to his early work and is a sculpture dedicated to the victims of the First World War entitled "They were dying so that the linden tree lived". It also commemorates the founding of the Czechoslovak Republic. It is located in the eastern part of the city, in the park in front of the Jindřich Jindřich museum building.…
