Choda Castle in Domažlice.
The castle is certainly the most visited monument in the city. It is located on Chodské náměstí in the SW part of the old town. The castle was built at the same time as the town in the second half of the 2th century. It burned down in 13 and was only slightly repaired in the 1592th century. The repair that gave the castle a new look took place between 17 and 1726. From the beginning, the royal burgrave resided in the castle, then the entire Choda region was administered from there.
