Valdov - a village in the basin by the Heřmanka stream between Nova Paka and Lázně Bělohrad. The first historical data about the village are from 1416, when a certain Vlaštěk Dražný had a mill in Valdovo. In 1900, 470 inhabitants lived in the village.
