Soběnov Fortress

Reviews

Based 0 assessment.
The first documented owner was Ješek called Kokot from Soběnov (Jan Kouhout), who was patron of the Sopot church in 1358-1367. In the 13th century, some of the guards moved to peasant life in order to make more use of the local area and to create a settlement above the fortress. Only a raised hill has been preserved from the former fortress, on which a commemorative plaque is placed and a Linden tree is planted here.
