A total of twenty-nine names are written on the monument dedicated to the fallen, which is located at the railway crossing between Ždírc nad Doubravau and Sobíňov. The units of the German army retreated from the advancing Red Army even through Havlíčkobrodsko. At Sobíňov, they were confronted in an unequal battle by Czech volunteers who, with them behind the railway…
