Turovice is a small agricultural hamlet with approximately 230 inhabitants, whose development is connected to the neighboring town of Dřevohostice in its district of Novosady.
LP 1365 is mentioned for the first time in the annals. The first known owner was Ješek from Turovice, and the name of the village means "the village of Turovy people." After the Second World War, Turovice was merged with Drevohostice in 1951 (until 1960 it fell into the district of Holešov),...
