Drevohostice monument to the fallen

We come across it at the northwest end of the park on the square, and at first glance it catches the eye with its monumentality. The top of the monument to the fallen of both world wars is dominated by the sculpture Abandoned (it used to be called the Last Wake), which was designed by the well-known Olomouc sculptor Július Pelikán and the idea was successfully translated into stone by the lesser-known Holeš sculptor František Polívka.
