Tuřany – Belfry at the Church of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary

The wooden belfry in Tuřany, standing in the cemetery near the pilgrimage church of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary, was built in 1717. The construction of the belfry was financed by the Smečen lordship. The first documents about the purchase of material for the future bell tower date from 1663, but the documents about its construction date back to 1666.
