Třebíč - a city of Jewish monuments
The district town of Třebíč is located on the river Jihlava in the Vysočina region, west of Brno. It was once one of the important centers of Jewish culture in Moravia. A Jewish settlement demonstrably existed here as early as 1338, it is documented in writing from 1410.
