Třebíč - a city of Jewish monuments

The district town of Třebíč is located on the river Jihlava in the Vysočina region, west of Brno. It was once one of the important centers of Jewish culture in Moravia. A Jewish settlement demonstrably existed here as early as 1338, it is documented in writing from 1410. Other Jews appeared here in the 16th century, but they were already forced to live separately from the city, so they settled across the river, north of the city, where they had first just your own…
