Třebíč - the historic center of the city

The district town of Třebíč is located in the Vysočina region, west of Brno. It is spread over both banks of the river Jihlava.
The beginnings of the city are related to the founding of the Benedictine monastery above the river in 1101, which from the beginning was one of the richest in the entire Přemysl state.
