Terčino Valley

The protected park Terčino (also Terezino) valley is located about 1 km southwest of Nové Hrady in the valley of the river Stropnice in the Novohradské hory mountains. Originally, the landscape park covers an area of ​​around 140 ha.
The park was established in the second half of the 18th century by Count Buquoy. The impetus for its establishment was given by Countess Terezie Buquoyová, whose name the park bears to this day.
