A prominent tree in the Terčina valley

In the romantic forest park near the New Castles in Terčín údolí, we can find, among other things, an important landscape-forming element, an outstanding tree that has unfortunately grown up. It is a massive Spruce (Picea abies), which was uprooted on October 27, 2002. The torso of his trunk can still be admired today. The spruce was 46,5 m tall and 225 years old.
